I teach math and history/English classes to kids who struggle to process or absorb at the same speed as other kids. My goal is to meet them where they are with modified curriculum and flexible break schedules so that they can absorb the information to help them succeed. We also offer the option to stand, sit on the floor or access various chair options in the hopes that their body will calm down and let the information in. I have the privilege to teach at a rural middle school. My students have a myriad of differing abilities and flexible seating options enable them to find focus. This desk will allow me to offer an out”standing” option in the classroom!

About my class
