An iPad and laptop will help to fulfill the learning goals and aspirations of each student in my classroom. We are limited on technology in our classroom, which effects the learning potential of each student. With the use of an iPad and/or laptop, my students will be able to do independent work such as remediation of skills, research, and even connect with our penpals across the country! Through the use of the Unique/N2Y app (an alternative curriculum for students with different abilities) as well as other Apps, students will be able to track progress to their individual goals, reinforce previously learned skills, and gain independence!
By donating to this project, you are not only allowing my students to reach their full potential, but also gain the sense of equality. Technology should not be used as a replacement to instruction, but rather a tool that will help enhance success!
