My students have to read at a level D by June. I need leveled books in my classroom to help my students practice reading, decoding, and comprehension. It is my dream to have a variety for them so they will never get bored of the books we have and can’t wait to continue reading. The books in the requested Guided Reading fiction and nonfiction sets will go directly into our classroom and give them resources the other classrooms have but we don’t have because we are a brand new classroom. It will help create an equitable environment among the kindergarten classes. I know they will be excited to see our classroom library full of books because it is pretty bare right now. I’ve done my best going to our local library to check out books for my classroom but that’s not always convenient either. Please help me give my students the resources they need to succeed. We will be forever grateful.
