I think that I am in need of an "Extreme Library Makeover". No, my students need this makeover. I have so many ideas for the future of the library! I see the students working together in collaborative groups, using the new tables and technology that is available. I see students getting comfortable on some soft seating and curling up with a good book. I see another set of students sitting at the new barista area taking a brain break and catching up over a cup of coffee before school begins.
I see my library bustling with activity and students eager to visit. I smell fresh coffee being made at the barista station. I feel the freshness that the room brings from the color of the walls, to the new lighting, and the new furniture bringing it all together.
