As a Response to Intervention Resource Teacher, my goal is to support students to reach their reading goals. In our reading room, we want to create a positive learning environment with the tools we need to provide specific and targeted interventions to students who need intensive reading support. Our goal is to create a variety of learning settings within the same room. We have 2 kidney tables and student desks. Having this large carpet and rolling easels will allow us to be more effective at small-group instruction. On the white board easels, students will be able to practice importance skills by completing sorting activities using pictures and magnetic letters. Through the use of the rug and easel, they will have close proximity to critical instruction.
