Having an Apple iPad in our fourth grade classroom will open the door to interactive learning across the curriculum. Students who may not be excited about practicing skills in a paper workbook will be more than excited to practice those same skills interactively on the iPad. I need math games like the Pop and Add math complete set that will help my students understand the basic use of addition. The games will help my students to solve the problem, where they will count the apples, then write the answer on the board. When my students are done are they simply wipe the board clean and then pop the dice again to create tons of new problems. The math manipulatives will be used for our math center. These materials will be used in small group math centers to develop basic math concepts at individual students' levels. Addition and subtraction are a key concept in our math curriculum. These materials will not only help students to learn math, but using them collaboratively with groups will also work on the students' ability to work together with others.
