My students have a wide range of learning styles and needs. With the materials that I have chosen, such as the number pocket chart, number lines, and dice, I plan to create engaging hands-on math centers to support all of their needs.
Creating these math centers will allow me to differentiate instruction to support their learning. I will split my math time with whole group instruction, then move to working in small group math centers. This will allow my students to practice the skills taught in a more interactive way. They will have access to these materials on a daily basis.
