My students need small hand held metronomes to help them keep a steady beat as they learn to improve their rhythmic competence. The students are continuing to improve their ability to read music rhythms and need the metronome device in order to help them improve their musicianship. Many students cannot afford their own metronome and do not have a mobile device which would provide a metronome.
With a hand held, battery operated metronome, my students can continue to improve their rhythm playing, helping them to become better musicians. This one aspect of their music education can help students to feel more successful and keep them enjoying band for years to come!
