When a child is first learning to read, appropriate reading materials are essential. The leveled reading books included in this project, will provide books that new readers can find success in reading. Having a child attempt to read books that are not on their reading level causes frustration. Children are motivated to continue learning to read as they are excited to be reading from real books. These materials will help my new readers find success and joy in reading. Being able to read will provide children with a whole world of new opportunity. Reading changes children's lives for the better.

About my class
