These materials will help create a calm and welcoming environment for my special education students that struggle with emotional regulation. The variety of materials will allow them to take some of them to use at home or in their other classes to help them maintain a calmer state when feeling anxious or frustrated. My students will find joy out of having creative building materials to use when earning "build time" for making gains towards their individual goals. These tools will also help my students remain more focused during learning activities so they can make more academic progress.
