Good manipulatives help children use imagination and creativity in their own way. Preschool is their first year in school. Children at this age will be playing and exploring new opportunities that you provide in the classroom. The children in my classroom will be able to begin the day with free play by the toys you provide. These items will also be available to them in the block center and to be used at tables with the teachers. The 2 seats will be used in the library for the children to sit comfortably while reading a book. By donating, you make this a fun and exciting enrichment for these young minds at work. My classroom is going to be able to grow through the items you provide and all sorts of areas such as math and language, and in social/emotionally learning.
