The Lakeshore tools are great resources for students. Through hands-on activities, students are able to work on rhyme, comprehension, sight words, sentence structure, writing, and much more. Our class was provided the opportunity to utilize many of these tools in our room last year and students were able to work independently, strengthen skills, and take pride in their work. Fine motor skills are strengthened through activities like the placement of word cubes and circles, writing words out, and matching letters to complete words and sentences. Students retain more work when activities prove to be engaging and exciting for the students, and the Lakeshore activities definitely provide a fun learning experience!
