Students start as young as grade 8 in our school. Hands-on learning is proven to be beneficial to all students. As we know, the field of robotics is exploding. It is translating into almost every future career field across the world. Recently, students at Yale University created a robotics skin!
This is great to make your favorite stuffed animals walk, of course, but in the future, it can be applied to help astronauts in outer space or applied to the medical field, helping paraplegics. The opportunities are endless!
Starting from our classroom, not only do we work to get students excited about the endless future opportunities of robotics, but it allows students the opportunity to apply computer programming to their robots. It is all around a very rewarding experience that I hope all students can have access to!
