I would love to have whiteboards, erasers, and markers for all of my students. A class set would enable them to participate in class in a more interactive way and for me to be able to quickly assess their skills.
It would especially encourage those students who do not feel comfortable using their voice to give answers to still feel comfortable participating. My students learn best with any method that involves turning lessons into a game or an interactive activity. They also love competition, so these boards could also be used in group settings and encourage group efforts and collaboration.
