These iPads will give us access to curriculum outside of the classroom and allow students to access the curriculum they are most excited about!
iPads are essential for students who want to learn/explore about different countries they want to travel to, create coding programs that are unbelieveable, read books that target their interests and be deep-space explores from the comfort of our classroom. iPads allow us to have thousands of books at our disposal without pages getting ripped out, and without going on expensive field-trips.
This technology will allow access to so many apps that can reach students to reinforce my students in ways that interest them. Kindergarten is the most important time to reinforce letter and number identification, counting, recognizing sight words, and so many other things and with iPads I can make that happen in my classroom on a daily basis. I also have many students who need a challenge and look for ways to get to the next step in their learning. iPads allow us to support more STEM activities when those high flyers finish their work early, or those students who are so interested in a topic they can't stop asking questions because they are DESPERATE to learn more any way they can. I am so excited to have access to iPads in my classroom and see how they help my students achieve many new levels.
I am asking you for help in encouraging those scientists and researchers in my room to work and get to the next level in their learning.
