The goal is to create a classroom for students grade 9th - 12th that incorporates their learning style, sensory needs, social/emotional well being and post secondary goals. Having flexible seats and tables will allow students to move within the classroom, take breaks, and learn through social/emotional play/interactions in order to increase their success in the outside world. In addition, some of the items will be utilized to create an appropriate safe space for them to take a break and utilize the coping strategies they have learned when need without being exposed to other students in the large classroom or school setting.

About my class
