We CPR and First Aid certify over 140 students each year. These CPR mannequins have an audible compression clicker to ensure proper technique. The student will be able to see the chest rise and fall. These mannequins come with face shield/lung bags, and have proper anatomical landmarks. This provides better visual ques for training purposes. The AED training kits are fully functional with volume adjustment and bilingual scenarios for the students to work though. As they work through these emergency scenarios they are working on leadership and team building skills.
No matter what area of the healthcare field they enter we want each of our students as prepared as possible. Our community saw the great need for disaster relief, assistance and volunteers during Hurricane Harvey. We want to prepare our students by putting them through a multitude of scenarios with proper functioning equipment. The more hands on experience they have the better prepared will be. This is our mission.
