The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will allow for them to partake in "dramatic play". Dramatic play is essential for young students and allows for them to pretend and play a part. Through the use of toys and games that allow students to conduct in dramatic play, the students get to step away from reality and be someone or something else for a little bit. During this challenging time, this is especially important! The items that will be added to my classroom through this project will allow my students to pretend to cook meals, check patients (human and animals), fix things, and brainstorm building strategies. Good times are never ending when we're playing and pretending!
