Hello! I teach a self-contained special education class of 3rd and 4th grade students. We all have unique personalities, talents and needs; and do a lot of learning and growing throughout the year just like the rest of our school peers. We just do it all in a little bit of a different way. Sometimes we need to regulate our emotions. Other times we need to work things through at a different pace or in a unique way. There are times when we need movement breaks just like everyone else. We just might need them a little more often. We love learning together and are such a close knit, fun-loving, supportive school family. We hope that you will consider helping us with some of the items listed that we might not otherwise be able to afford. Everyone wants to be seen, be heard and be accepted as they are. We hope that you, like us, will see the ABLE in people and not the LABEL placed upon us.
