Students will design and create mosaic signs. We will hang these signs on the fence facing a busy street and possibly inside our site as well. Students will create an image that reflects the name of our school and the values we hold.
We will have larger boards that are painted. In addition, we will create areas filled in with mosaic. We will be using the tiles, glue, grout, and small boards to make a series of mosaics that represent the ecosystem found in a river. We will hang all of these on the fence to make a buffer from the traffic as well as beautify both the city side and playground side of our site with student art, environmental education, and values articulation.
