I am asking for a variety of books including The Three Silly Billies, Cendrillon A Caribbean Cinderella, and The Korean Cinderella. These books will be used to enhance our balanced literacy curriculum, making our students' learning experience more meaningful. The books I am requesting will help me teach concepts like building schema, metacognition, and making personal connections while reading. Books can open a child’s mind to a whole new world of vocabulary. It has been amazing to see how inspired my students truly are by incorporating books into our everyday curriculum. I have seen my students make so much progress in their independent reading in a few months. I can't wait to see all that they learn by the end of the year. Thank you so much for considering funding my project!
