Kids need responsibility! And a fun reason to come to school. I believe a class turtle will help achieve both of these things! Kids need (especially now, more than ever) something fun in their lives! I want my room to be fun!
Having a class pet will even make the “virtual” meetings more exciting and give them something to see each day (besides my face. Students can learn about life cycles, ecosystems, animal husbandry and responsibly! I think a turtle would add a lot of fun to what has already started out as a crazy year!
