Interactive Notebooks will make a difference in my students learning by tackling different learning styles, give students structure to learn organization skills, make history interactive through a variety of methods, and present the student with a complete end portfolio at the end of the semester. They can do this by utilizing glue or tape on a variety of resources. For example, pop-ups can be used to allow a student to quiz themselves at home. A 3 subject notebook would keep them organized by 6 weeks- our grading period timeline, while still maintaining the information in one place.
Students need the chance to take charge and responsibility in their learning. Interactive notebooks provide both of these opportunities by holding students accountable for the upkeep and the completion of the notebooks.
