Because I have students whose minds race with ideas, their little bodies are trying to keep up. This causes them to not be able to sit still while working. If I have a place for these students to work, their feet can still fidget while they are working. This would really help with distractions that are caused throughout the day. It will also help with these students' relationships with others in the class by not distracting them. I want to start out with one standing desk and rotate it through a few students. It definitely gives students an option for flexible seating.
