My classroom has a high demand for technology in the everyday things we do. We have a very high student population. However, we do not have access to many devices. Currently, we only have two student desktop computers.
Our district purchased an interactive, web-based science curriculum, but we do not have enough computers in our classroom to give all of my students access. We also will use the Chromebooks to access English Learning apps and websites. Many of my students are newcomers, and web-based tools will give them access to English language learning websites and tools. With additional computers, I can create small group rotations and give everyone the opportunity to access our district's programs.
