My robotics club is in its 5th year at our middle school. This year our team is double in size, with nearly 30 students and more asking to join! We received new VEX IQ robots as a gift from our district office, but we do not have laptops to use for the events. We need portable devices to program and code our robots on the spot at our meets and the big Tournament in April.
The kids will use the laptops to program their VEX IQ bots using RobotC code. The competitions include obstacle courses, battle bots, search and rescue missions, and more. These meets and events are the highlight for some of my students as this is their first year building, using, programming, and controlling a robot on their own.
