Right now, my kindergartners are squished together into 3 large groups at 3 tables- and it's making learning very difficult! Kindergartners have big personalities, and sometimes it's next to impossible to find a group of 5 or 6 that can work together. My students need more, but smaller groups: this can be achieved through MORE TABLES! My school loves round tables- so much so that there were none left for me when I set up my classroom this year!
By increasing the number of groups in my room, I can more effectively group my students in order to have more effective collaboration and learning! Additionally, these extra tables will provide more space for center-based learning, in all subject areas.
