One of the main benefits of using technology in the classroom is that the traditional passive learning mold is broken. The tablets I am requesting are guaranteed to encourage active learning. In today’s growing digital age it is imperative that students are exposed to technology as a way to enhance their learning. Students are very accustomed and comfortable with this type of presentation – and people learn better when they are comfortable with the delivery environment. By having these tablets in the classroom, rich media will be readily available on the Internet and can help my students grasp more complex concepts quicker and easier then using the written word alone.
