Have you ever wondered how something worked? So have my students! Their inquisitive minds are questioning and examining how things work and interact every day.
Spheros aren’t just fun; they are also an excellent teaching tool. Students will be using them to learn everything from geometry to take a first step into computer programming. The Sphero balls will be a part of our STEAM Lab that we are beginning to design at school. We are have students learn more about coding and the Sphero balls would be the perfect fit to extend their coding lessons. Students will be able to use the Sphero balls by coding on their Chromebooks. Students will be able to see how their coding effects the movement of the balls. Students will have the opportunity to code their Sphero balls to make them follow a path trough a virtual obstacle course. I know the Sphero balls will add a higher level of engagement to their lessons.
