This program will teach about the development of life and encourages teamwork and responsibility as students care for the eggs in the incubator and chicks in the brooder.
Emphasis will be on LANGUAGE
CREATIVE WRITING 鈥 Give your students a story starter such as 鈥淢y Eggstraspecial Egg鈥, 鈥淎n Eggstraordinary Egg鈥, etc., to encourage creative story writing. Your students will enjoy using their imagination and will want to add a picture to make the story complete.
LISTENING TO STORIES 鈥 Many storybooks about all sorts of eggs are available at the library. Read some of these stories to your class during quiet time.
