My students need a variety of outdoor equipment such as, basket balls, volleyballs, soccer balls, bouncy balls, jump ropes, Skip Its, and hula hoops. Living in Idaho, indoor recess happens anytime the temperature drops below zero. My students need indoor activities such as, card and dice games, board games, and magnetic erasers for indoor use. Recess serves as a necessary break from the rigors of concentrated academic challenges in the classroom. It also offers cognitive, social, emotional and physical benefits. With the equipment my students will receive the benefits of physical activity and fitness that will contribute to their overall heath and well-being.
