The students will have new books to read and have a better opportunity to learn to read. They will connect better to reading with books that are more in there interest. We are in desperate need of new materials, our current book collection is about 10 years old. The books will be used repeatedly throughout the year. I think that new fresh books that are in their interest will help improve my reading scores, the students will be more literate. The current student population is 24 1st grade students but I would be able to use these books for the future.

About my class
