The Future Educators of America Club (FFEA) is an inclusive club at our school to introduce students into the world of teaching and education. It is also a club where member or not students can earn community service hours participating in events servicing teachers in the classroom with daily needs after hours. Since COVID19, the morale around school and climate for participation in events have decreased due to students increase in the workforce because of household needs. For several years now, the FFEA Club awards students, teachers and staff members for participating in education based contest and teacher related accolades.
Rather than ordering costly plaques we would like to use beautiful picture frames and create the certificates ourselves. The students create the graphic designs per contest and the picture frames make the award even more special. This along with the entire club delivering the award to the recipient is amazing for morale, it increases attendance and participation in class. In light of so much overwhelming adjustments to getting back to the gist of school happenings, the FFEA club is trying to fill in the little lines between academics and school spirit.
