Working in a Title I school, I have students that come to school that need a place to relax, be a kid, and feel comfortable. My students are consistently moving around because they are uncomfortable siting down at their tables. As a class we move around our room to learn. However, when the students are at their tables for an activity they can't sit for long periods of time.
Students will excel when their basic needs are being met.
Having flexible seating options will give my students the opportunity to work at their tables and stay engage while learning. Having wobble chairs, wobble cushions, and comfy chairs will give my students the ability have a choice in how their learn.
