Young children learn so much through exploration, trial and error, and having the ability to create! My project, "Creating & Inventing for Little Hands and Minds" would provide the kindergarten learners the opportunity to use their imaginations, use tools, and create awareness of how things work. They will utilize the manipulatives in my classroom through the use of small group time, and developmental centers. Students will get to choose how to use building sets individually. Each student will have the opportunity to explore, build, and form ideas using the blocks, tools, and pieces of each set. Math, Science, and Creativity will all meet together in the exploration of these manipulatives!
