Every year, the Superintendent challenges our kids to read 25-35 books. He rewards those who meet the challenge with great prizes and a carnival in May. We try very hard each year to think of ways to motivate our children, many of whom have significant reading disorders and delays. To reach the ones that don't enjoy reading, we thought an NFL-themed book giveaway would catch their attention! The footballs, bags, and books will be given away to the winners of a trivia game at the assembly! Our library will be decorated as a football stadium and hot dogs and popcorn will be donated and given to the kids.
