The most challenging aspect of "Distance Learning" is the lack of hands-on experience. My students include both Students with Disabilities and English language Learners, who learn best when actively involved in the process.
Many of the children have had a difficult time with the concepts of both fractions and time. The manipulatives requested would give them the ability to actively engage in the lesson, while allowing me to see their progress.
One of the experiences they miss the most was reading as a class. We would be able to read the novels together during our "chats."
