I currently only have 2 working desktops in my classroom. My biggest class has 18 students, so we rarely get to have all students get a turn during the week. Laptops would help not only by enhancing understanding, but also would provide students to learn in a flexible environment and receive supplemental instruction online according to their level.
A printer would help us because I do not have one in my classroom, so I am currently borrowing a friends. Without it, I can't lesson plan or print out engaging activities for my students which is of extreme importance for them.
The butterfly kit is extremely important for Science instruction. My school can't afford to provide the funding for science experiments. Therefore, my students would absolutely love the opportunity to study butterflies and the life cycle through this resource. We would have the best time studying and recording data in our interactive journals on the life cycle of a butterfly!
