Students will have the ability to use programs, such as Google Earth, history.org, the Natural History Museum website, and more to travel to the distant locations we discuss during World History class. They will also be able to complete WebQuests and virtual field trips with ease. Most of my students have never traveled outside of our city, let alone our country. This project will allow us to explore the world as we learn about various cultures, civilizations, and locations. They will truly receive an immersive experience in learning about world history while seeing first hand the locations that we have been discussing in class.
