We live in a world of technology and we must embrace it. Children from a young age now have all these opportunities to create projects online, explore online math and reading programs, Education is a powerful tool and I want my students to see that the more they know, the more places they'll go. Just like every teacher, I believe EVERY child should have the same opportunities no matter their situation or socioeconomic status. Unfortunately, not all families can afford computers, tablets, or tech devices in their home due to these things. Every child should have a computer to learn more, create more, and think more. These Chromebooks will help my students take control of their learning, but also be exposed to all that technology has to offer. From online research projects, to virtual field trips, my students will have a chance to create and think out of the box. My students should have the opportunity to play and work with these programs to help them build a strong foundation of technology programs used on laptops.
