There is so much power when students get to read novels. These books will be able to enhance my classroom by giving my students access to stories that they can connect to. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind - they love to make connections with characters and learn about other cultures. I have also asked them what type of books they would enjoy reading, they these three books were chosen by my students. With these new books, my students will be able amerce their selves into these stories and grow their understanding of the world around them. In our current curriculum my student only have access to short stories - I want my students to be able to have access to many different varieties of reading as it is best way to increase reading ability. These books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading and continue their love for reading.
