A good book and a comfy seat...a combination that ensures success. "If children feel safe and comfortable, they can take risks, ask questions, make mistakes, learn to trust, share feelings, and grow." - Alfie Kohn My students are constantly growing and have a lot of wiggles, so the wiggle seats, yoga balls, and wobble stools will help them get their bodies moving a bit, while also helping them focus. Classrooms are changing. Students have different learning styles along with diverse learning needs. I want to actively be apart of that change and make my classroom environment a place where my students want to be. With this demographic and the students in my class, every little thing counts and is greatly appreciated.
