The Green Team at I.S. 240 A. H. Magnet School of Stem has launched a recycling campaign to cut down the use of plastic bottles. They have chosen to make a difference in our environment by using reusable water bottles instead of purchasing, and recycling one each day. The students have decided to provide each 7th grader with their own bottle, which would cut down the purchase and recycling of plastic bottles each day; that is at least 200 bottles LESS each day!
This wonderful PBL, project based learning project, makes the curriculum come to life and relevant for them.
