We are a small public high school that is focused on preparing a diverse group of urban youth to be independent thinkers and community members committed to social justice. Our students are resilient, creative, intelligent, and challenging high school students who are learning to be leaders in their community that embody our values of respect, integrity, courage, and humility. We serve about 300 students who primarily come from African-American, Latino, Pacific Islander and Asian working class families and enter our school with some of the lowest test scores in the district.
