Clay is one of my students favorite materials to use and experiment with in the Art Room because it's messy and fun! However, our methods of sculpting are limited based on our current tools. The students have not had a chance to experience one of the most rewarding clay techniques- the slab method.
Handmade ceramic cups, platters, boxes, oh my! The possibilities are endless. With the Bailey Slab Roller and clay sheet, all students in kindergarten through sixth grade will be able to build with clay slabs! This will open up a whole new world for them to experience. Let the creativity begin!
