I teach 7th Grade Texas History. The upcoming Unit 2 project will require a lot of research from my students. We have been currently studying and analyzing the 4 regions of Texas and their varying characteristics. Students will have to create an inviting brochure to tell people all about the attractions in their region and why they should come there. The computers will come in handy so everyone will have access to research in the classroom. Just in case some of the other equipment is dysfunctional, I will have up-to date technology for the students to do the project. The construction paper and markers will be utilized so that students will be able to create thier brochure on a large scale and the region that they are trying to persuade people to come to.
