I have a self contained special education classroom. For the past four years, I had a k-3 classroom. This year, I have a k-1 classroom with all new kiddos. My students have different sensory needs. Some stand, some pace, some rock back and forth, some fidget, some walk around. No matter what they are doing, they are still exposed to learning. I want their learning environment to better help them focus and learn the best way possible. The items I have chosen, wobble stools, soft seats and balance balls are more flexible seating options for my kiddos to be able to focus and learn in an environment that best helps them.
