My students love hands on materials The kids are going to be not only learning about computer coding for those interested in computer science degrees, but there are very hands on projects for those students that are looking to go the route of engineering or even technical school with residential or commercial electrician programs.
I really like that I can develop this class in so many ways. I chose many game formats like the circuit game, happy salmon, and the rush hour games to teach problem solving in the classroom which is a core concept to not only computer class but in all classes. I also chose the Kano coding wands because they work with many forms of technology and connect physical movement with coding.
