" Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood." ~Fred Rogers
My recess groups need games and new equipment for indoor and outdoor play. This is my first year having recess duty, and I have no recess equipment currently. Students are assigned specific areas of the playground due to COVID protocols.
Students LOVE recess!!! The students have a variety of interests. I am trying to introduce some new games and sports to them during recess. With the new equipment and games, students will have a safe way to stay active and have FUN!
The games and activities I chose for indoor recess will help increase creativity, and students can learn to play together in a positive way. Play is a great way for students to learn from each other and build the social skills needed to be the best person they can be!
