Welcome to Ms. Burkhardt's Library Media Center! I love being an educator. I want my students to experience meaningful, interesting learning that applies to their lives. I believe this can be accomplished through the use of hands-on/minds-on activities and an integrated curriculum and technology. In the library, students not only develop the love of reading but also learn digital citizenship, research skills, and how to work collaboratively on projects. In my school, the library is an accepting place that students feel comfortable taking a risk and trying out new things.
